Children in Need

Congratulations to all our students for completing their Children in Need challenges so well. During the week Blue class had a Signathon and completed over 30 signs in less than an hour! They also wore their pyjamas all day at school. Red class had a Swimathon and swam lengths and lengths of the pool to raise money for Children in Need. Green class had a penalty shoot out and scored over 10 goals in 30 minutes! Orange class wore their pyjamas all day at school and even wore them at the dinner table. Aqua class challenged each other to get their faces painted. They chose animal and superhero designs and wore the face paint all day. Yellow class got active and showed us their boxing skills by challenging each other to box the practice pads. Purple class had lots of fun dressing up as Oaktree pets. They dressed up as our pet rabbits Peter and Doug and also Heidi the hamster. Classes Pink, 6E and 6J all challenged each other to complete a sponsored silence. Pink class were silent for a whole hour and twenty four minutes! 6E were silent for forty minutes and 6J were silent for a whole lesson!

We are delighted to report that thanks to everyone’s generosity we have collected an amazing £725 for this very worthy charity. The money will help thousands of children in the UK.
