Letter to the Council
Class 10 and 4 School Councillors set off for cat Hill roundabout as we were concerned about how difficult it was to cross the roads here. We stood at different points and decided that it was very dangerous. We decided that we needed one or two crossings and that the central trees and bushes needed to be trimmed to improve visibility and safety.
We also looked around the area and went into the housing estate next door to the school. With three schools and this estate, there are hundreds of peopkle at risk of accidents when using the roundabout.
We decided on action and wrote to Enfield Council with our recommendations.
