Week beginning 13.7.20

Weekly Overview

This week’s pack of activities includes 11 learning sessions which should be spread out throughout the week, with a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 3 per day. If you have the time and the opportunity to do a bit of reading with your child some of the days, that would be great!

Independence – 1 session

Computing – 1 session

Science – 1 session

Art – 1 session

Food Tech – 1 session

PSHE – 1 session

PE – 1 session

As your child completes the activities, feel free to use the email address below with any comments as to how he/she has been getting on with the work, as well as pictures of any tasks your child may have achieved (but please do not send pictures of your child, only the work!!!)

Maths Session 1 Complete the assignment set on Mathseesds

Maths Session 2 – Complete the worksheet in the maths folder that is linked to the topic that you explored on Mathseeds: ‘Ordering Numbers or ‘Grouping

English Session 1 – Reading Eggspress

English Session 2 – This week we are going to be writing poems. There are some videos to watch and activities to complete.

Independence –  I am sending home a list of activities to help you continue being independent at home during the summer holidays.

Science – I would like you to come up with a quiz all about plants to test my knowledge!

PSHEThe Windrush Generation – You will be learning about the Windrush Generation. You have two videos to watch. There is also a short PowerPoint and an opportunity to reflect on what it would have been like for this generation.

Computing- What is a Code? Or cbeebies Beach party – You have a choice of topic: learning about coding or developing your fine motor skills with the cbeebies characters.

Art – Black Lives Matter - Colour in, fill in with patterns, or write the names of black people you admire or words related to the topic on the black live matters fist symbol.

Food Tech – Food Tech

Pick two meals that you have eaten at home this week.

Write out a list of ingredients for each meal – you may need your parent or carer’s help for this

See if you can identify the meal with the most ingredients
