Sixth Form News

Already this has been a busy term! Sixth form have hosted the MacMillian Coffee Morning where we raised 509.00. A great day that was attended by lots of parents, carers and friends of Oaktree school. They also organised a car wash morning which was very popular and successful. A big thank you to those who supported this venture. Please keep a look out for the next one!

For the second year running the Sixth Form worked with McDonalds on the ‘Love where you live’ project.  We spent the morning collecting litter from the local park.  Not to be put off by the rain, great fun was had by all who took part.

As we move closer to Christmas, Sixth Form will be making cards, decorations and other gifts that can be purchased; more details will follow. We will also be repeating our ‘We Scare Hunger’ campaign and will be collecting imperishable food and hygiene products which we will give to the local homeless shelters.

We look forward to another exciting and busy half term.
