During the beginning of the Spring term Purple Class have been super busy! We performed our assembly on the story ‘The Lion Hunt’ and it was a huge success. We have been going on regular local trips to the shops to buy fruit for fruit time once a week and getting to know the local area. We visited Chicken Shed to say goodbye to a fellow student who has moved on to a new school.
Swimming has been a continued success and the children are gaining more confidence with both their swimming skills and their independence skills and are now showering, grooming & dressing themselves independently.
For the next half term we will be continuing to visit the local area and the local shops to develop the children’s independence and confidence using money. We are looking forward to visiting the local WHSmith on World book day for the children to choose their own books and the Museum of Childhood next month to explore traditional moving toys.
