It has been another busy half term for Red Class who has made it through amazingly well. They have had lots of fun in our trips and they practised hard for school’s summer show working hard at the same time on their learning and end of year targets, which they all achieved!
During Pet & Geography which focused on Out & About, they went on two amazing trips, to the Wild Paradise Park and to Aldenham County Park’s Farm. At the farm, they looked at the farm animals, which they named and identified confidently, they spoke about the animals groups they belong to, remembered the names for the father, mother, and baby animals in each animal family, the products we humans get from them and who is looking after their needs at the farm! On the bus to the farm they looked at areas we passed by and they discussed types of buildings they could they see, what a neighbour or a local area looks like and signs that help people on the roads.
Likewise, they had lots of fun and excitement at the Paradise Park looking at different animals and their habitats while they enjoyed two more trips at the Horniman Museum and Diana’s Memorial Playground at Hyde Park. On the way to central London they refreshed learning about signs and means of public transport, ways to buy a ticket, the local tube station as well as safety whilst travelling in public. In all of the trips Red Class were extremely cautious, mature and very well behaved when crossing the roads and getting on or off the train/bus.
Finally a huge well done to Red |Class for performing so confidently in front of such a big audience in our Summer Show! Well done Red Class for having an amazing year, you have built your confidence, your social skills and you have been working constantly very hard in all of your lessons!
Good luck with your new beginnings next year!
