Although our staff at school have many ideas for things that can make Oaktree an even better place, we believe our students also have good ideas – and we want to hear them.
At their first meeting, Student Voice agreed what events and charities we could raise awareness or money for in this term. We also discussed the importance of safeguarding within the school and identified who the safeguarding leads are at the school and who they could talk to if they had any concerns.
In our weekly meetings we discuss matters of Health & Safety and any other needs and opinions of their classes are discussed. All meetings are minuted, and a record is kept of what has been discussed and passed on to the relevant staff if anything needs to be carried out within the school grounds.
